Welcome to CPCC

Welcome to Claremont Presbyterian Children’s Center.  Beginning as a Mothers’ Day Out drop in program, and evolving into a full time year round children’s center, we have served families for over thirty years.

Our teachers provide a comfortable, safe, nurturing environment for children from six weeks to five years old.  Each class has developmentally appropriate curriculum with weekly lesson plans built around a central theme or question.  The emphasis is on building a community of engaged learners.

I am new here as a director, but have fond memories of when my daughter was here at CPCC.  One of her teachers is still here and remembers her as a little girl.   My daughter is still close with a friend she met in the infant class.  The sense of caring and community truly extends beyond the time children attend CPCC.

It has been a delight to join this wonderful community in a new capacity.  It is wonderful to enjoy and support the center’s traditions while also exploring new possibilities.  For example, we have recently implemented an Arts Program with local instructors bringing weekly classes in visual arts, music and creative movement to all the children.  These classes are designed to supplement the children’s classroom learning experiences while embedding enrichment activities into the program.

Please browse our newly developed website to get a flavor of life at CPCC.

Sincerely,

Sacha Lord
